6 stars,I perfer to buy stuff from LLBean for there quality and long lasting of there products. I own a HP DV6 which measures 12" x 15" 1.25" or 2" with larger battery and it fits perfectly. The bag has 3 zippered compartments, 1 open pocket, and 1 pocket with a flap that buckles closed. the color is darker than picture, but was not a problem. the quality is excellent and I know the bag will out live this computer and probably my next..
I bought this for my husband for our five year anniversary and he LOVES it! He said it is the best gift I have ever given him. He has just raved about the quality of the product! We are very happy with the purchase!
A split decision that lead to me returning the briefcase. The quality is high, the design smart, and it appeared to have the utility I was looking for. However, the color is nowhere near the color in the on-line photo. This case is definitely a dark brown, not the tan as in the photo. The return was easy and credit posted promptly as is the LL Bean practice.
I saw that a few reviews noted the buckles were a problem, but thought I'd try the briefcase anyway. I agree that a new buckle needs to be devised, however I am pleased with the case and have not had that many problems with the buckles. I use it for work to carry my laptop, camera, paperwork etc. The canvas and stitching are heavy duty and durable. I am looking forward to years of service from this product.
