I don't usually write reviews for items, but I felt that this one warranted praise. First, it is a beautiful product in design and manufacture. Second, it is the most practical carrying item that I've used on business trips and going to meetings. It is ruggedly handsome, and that look only improves as it gets marred or dinged up from use -- as all bags and briefcases do. I have to travel frequently for my work with Uncle Sam. I can fit everything I need for a carry-on on long flights, and then look professional with this as I go into meetings. The size prevents me from bringing the kitchen sink with me, but that's a very good thing.
Excellent bag. Multiple compartments. Well made, easy to access and comfortable to carry. As it ages the look improves. Another quality L.L. Bean purchase.
This is hands down the best shoulder bag I've used. It has proven to be very durable under extreme conditions. The compartments are exactly the right proportions for my documents and other more bulky items. My work requires frequent travel and this bag hasn't let me down yet.
