My daughter picked this out for her 16th birthday and loves it. It is very rugged and fits all of her high school books in her bag. It is very durable and stylish. This bag will last her through to her senior year and she plans to use it for college as it's ageless. Money well spent as this was an investment for her to use long term and beleive that it should last.
It is a gift for my son who is having his first baby this summer. He wants to use it for a diaperbag...a little more manly than traditional ones. It is waterproof, the first objective, and out of his hands on his back. He wants both hands to hold his son.
Needed something for all the stuff I need to drag along with me. I really like this. A smaller & cheaper one would have been better but L.L. Bean doesn't make one.
This bag is great. Like other reviews say, it is much bigger than it looks. It's really attractive and has a TON of room. I love the front pockets, and the clasps are attractive and sturdy. also the straps have a lot of room to adjust them. I'm pretty short (5'1") and the straps seemed fine for my height, and I didn't adjust them all the way up.
