ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, beautifull designed
I have literally searched years for a rucksack bag and never found what I wanted until I found this one. As one who travels virtually every weekend, this bag has become my number one necessity. It carries everything I need with the two front pockets serving to stow the smaller items for easy access. The polished canvas repels stains and has maintained its newness through time and the quick release fasteners are 'user friendly'. I enjoy it more during my land travels vs air because it can be a bit awkward trying to remove it from overheads to retrieve an item. It's also a great shopping bag - straps are very comfortable, even when the bag is filled.
I don't know what all the hype is about the buckles on this rucksack...they work just fine! This is all I had anticipated it to be and more...extremely sturdy, solid, comfortable and very roomy. Holds a good two days worth of clothing, pair of sneakers, plus toothbrush, shaving gear. Already envied by fellow travelers. Thanks LLBean!!
My rucksack was a Christmas present I had asked for and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm a college student that likes to travel to different places with family and friends. So, I needed a bag that I could take with me just about anywhere and that could carry anything from my laptop and textbooks to camping gear or carry-on items. The first thing I loved about this bag was how spacious it is. It doesn't look it from the outside but the interior is huge. Easily carrying my computer, a few books, and some clothes. The outside pockets are also great for holding my phone, iPod, wallet, pens and any other small item for easy access. There's also a small pocket on the inside for whatever else you can imagine throwing in. The waxed tackiness diminishes with time and bag feels so durable with its thick canvas. I haven't had any problems with the clips like some others have. The clips stay shut even if I pull on them. So far the only problem I have had with it was that one of the metal zippers broke on me while I was closing one of the outside pockets. I plan on replacing the bag for another one as soon as possible.
