I love my new waterhog mat. It is the perfect size (6' x 5') and is doing a great job of protecting our newly refinished hard wood floor. We come into the room directly from the outside so it catches, snow, dirt, salt,etc. I would recommend it to anyone.
This rug came in a beautiful forest green & unrolled flat right away; there was no curling from being shipped. It is non-slip & it absorbs the moisture wonderfully. It is exactly what we needed for our small church kitchen. This was a custom size, so the price was quite a bit higher than the pre-made ones, but fortunately there was a 15% discount promotion for Christmas at the time of our order!
I usually don't write reviews, but when there's a great product, it's good to spread the word. We purchased a "waterhog" rug a few years ago and I often WISHED that the rug would come in larger sizes. Well my wish came true. I recently purchased the 6'by 5' size and have it right at our front door entry. The rain and snow (yes we've had some already) stay neatly on the rug and is saving our wood floors. It's a plain tan color and is attractive. Would I like something more decorative? Probably, but it would be ruined in a week....so here's my next wish.....perhaps a bit of a decorative flair....a couple more colors....hmmm..perhaps burgundy? Now I'm getting greedy!!! Seriously, a good small investment to save you mucho dollars of repairs on your wood floors, and also keeps the mess confined to a small area. Do yourself a favor-- BUY this rug!
