This mat works great in our front entryway. It wicks up every bit of water that comes in our house! The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star is because it has a spot on the edge ot the rug that bulges up and the rubber backing underneath shows through. Not a big deal...it doesn't affect the quality or usefulness of the rug at all. Definitely worth the price, it protects our new hardwood floors perfectly.
We have a new Newfoundland puppy and need a good mat at the door to step in on and wipe her down. The waterhog mat is fantastic. It looks good and holds up to the dogs!
I have purchased two Waterhog Doormats for my home. They are, by far, the best doormat on the market!! They wear well--correction: They don't wear at all! After a year of use, they look like new. When they are really dirty, just hose them off, let dry, and bring them back in. We have four dogs who frequent our home, and an endless parade of boys with muddy feet. I even dropped a burning log on one without any visible damage! They catch the dirt and hold it. I recommend them to everyone, and plan to get one more myself!!
Looks good, is BIG, covers hardwood floor nicely at the door, and protects from dirt and water. We can sweep it with the vaccum to clean it, as it too big to easily pick up.
