Absolutely LOVE this mat........bought two of them for the back mudroom, have a large dog and teenagers who don't know how to wipe feet before coming in.
Looks great, tan color is a bit darker than it looked on line, but that's fine, hides the dirt even better.
Vacuums up like a dream............Well worth the money.
We have four of these - 2 in each of our ski condo mudrooms - and they keep the tiles clean and dry, and they also keep our homes' interiors clean and dry, not easy to do with skiers tromping in and out all day. They not only absorb water and snow, they grab onto dirt as well and you will not believe how much moisture and dirt these mats can hold and for how long.
Waterhogs are superabsorbent and have a heavy backing that keeps them from soaking through unless they are completely saturated. Every few weeks we simply drag them in by the fire to dry out before restoring them to service.
So I just came by to buy another one for my new front foyer at home...they are worth every penny in wear and tear on your floors and carpets.
I love these mats and this one fits perfectly where my doggy door is to protect the floors from tracking of mud, snow, etc all over my house. By the time my dog has crossed this, his feet are clearly wiped saving me the constant floor cleaning. They stay put nicely also and can open a door over them easily without it getting caught on it. Just what I needed!
This mat is everything LL Bean says it is. It picks up any dirt being tracked in, whether it's from shoes or your pets. I purchased a large 6 x 8 for my foyer and I wondered if it would look too industrial but no! this mat looks very nice and does the job it's meant to do. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, whatever size you chose. I will be purchasing more for other areas. Would be great outside too!
