We have 3 water hog rugs. One at the front door and 2 at the back door. These rugs are great, anytime anyone comes in with wet or snowy shoes or boots, no worries!! They catch it all without anything going through to the floors. What a great idea. We love them and they look great too! In the summer we just hose them down, let them dry and start over nice and clean!!! Very pleased with these rugs. Thanks LLBEAN.
At first we loved this mat. It did a good job of collecting rain water from the boots in our front entrance. However in the winter we have a different problem with snow and especially ice. My husband has MS so we have to be always using ice melter and sometimes salt combined with sand to make sure he does not fall. These particles which fall off the boots,get stuck in between the squares and are very difficult to remove with a vacuum. When they are wet and fall off the boots, they really stick! So I have to get down on my hands and knees to remove the particles one by one with a brush. Sorry to say I am going to have to replace this mat with one which has a flatter surface and can be vacuumed.
Ordered this for inside my front entry. It is so much more functional than my old rug, yet it still looks great. I have hardwood floor and needed more protection from snowy boots. Vacuums well. Should have bought this years ago. Great quality.
Thank You, LLBean, for a great product! The colour, size and everything was perfect. Because we have this at our front door, I no longer have to sweep twice a day because it picks up SO much. It takes a little longer to vacuum because it has deep lines between the squares, but it's no problem and WELL worth it because of the dirt that is collected! Great product. Hope it lasts forever.
