I have been looking for a rug like this for a long time. We live on a farm & struggle with muddy boots, hay & straw. This rug is very strong & sturdy. You pay what you get for, so hopefully the price of this rug will make- up for the many rugs I have replaced in the past. It is beautiful & durable.
We bought this large mat to replace two old & worn waterhog mats. We wanted a larger mat that the wind could not easily blow around the deck. We have not yet had many winter storms, but the large mat is staying in place. Our deck is very slippery in the heavy frost and ice, so this mat not only helps with mud, snow and ice, but is a safety measure also. The only reason I am not giving this mat a five star rating is that we have not yet had any snow or ice storms and I do not know how the design on this mat will hold up with a lot of snow and ice.
Love this rug for a few reasons. The incredible selection of sizes allowed us to practically get a custom fit for our kitchen. The quality rubber backing is safe for the hardwood flooring. The color selection was great and the quality of the rug is excellent. I have a "knock-off" rug out in the entryway and there's no comparison. The water hog vacuums beautifully too. Love it!!
Desperately seeking rug tough enough to stand up to the daily rigors of life on an Adirondack farm- dirt, snow, farm boots, 7 dogs, 4 farmers, & occasional errant livestock to protect the new hardwood floors. So far excellent results - rug doesn't shift, its light weight, lays flat, attractive, catches moisture, etc. My regret is I should have ordered it sooner.
