The quality of the material is excellent. Long lasting , stain resistint, strong seams. However the revet botton on the top of the pants needs to be of a higher quality. The button on two of the pants I bought, pulled through the material. One pair I was able to repair. The other pair I returned to LL bean for an exchange. The exchange was easy per LL bean 100% satisfaction Guarantee. I've shopped LL Bean for years as my family has. I like these sturdy trousers a lot. They have substantial fabric and are well put-together. they are suffiently roomy also. Only request would be an inner coin pocket and maybe one button-able pocket for security when traveling.
I've bought 3 pairs of these over time - all colors. Trim fit with slight flare at bottom. Fold up like jeans. Fabric isn't quite jean-like in behavior so they get a little wrinklely.
