These play dresses work very well for busy toddlers. Leggings or tights look fine with them, and they can easily be dressed up or down. My daughter usually wears hers with leggings and sneakers to daycare. She even wore them as a nightgown a couple of times. The colors hold well, and the craftmanship is high quality. These get passed around to our extended family's children, and last for a long time. I have bought them in several sizes. Well worth the buy, especially if you can catch them on clearance!
I ordered this for my 1year old for this fall. I was worried it may be too big according to the other reviews. However, I ordered the 12-18 months and the framing (shoulder and arm length) is true to size. The skirt does run long though. Being here in the south, it will be a a few more months until it is cold enough to wear, but, she looks adorable in it; it is comfortable, easy to put on and will be an absolute staple this winter and early spring for us.
I bought two of these dresses for my granddaughter and thought they were a good value. My only complaint is that each arrived without tags and wrapped in a plastic bag with a bar code sticker on it. The dresses are cute, but I was disappointed the they did not have a nice "gift ready" appearance.
I absolutely love the LL Bean Unshrinkable Dresses! They are the only truly unshrinkable dresses I've found for my daughter and she loves to wear them!
Wonderful worn with leggings or tights. The color lasts through many, many washes and the quality assures that they can be worn by multiple children.
