ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, quick drying
Bought these pants for my sweetheart last year; he calls them his "fishing pants", and wears them on every trip. He loves the flexibility of zip-off legs, and the quick-drying fabric is ideal for outdoor/water activities like fishing. He recently took a spill on some rocks; he was afraid he ripped his favorite pants...but you can't find a scrape anywhere on them...good old LL Bean durability!! I'm back to get him another pair!
The pants seem sturdy and the pockets are great. Kids were excited to get them for our upcoming hiking trip to National Parks. The shorts zip off very low. Other zip-off pants are more like real shorts when they zip off wheras these are at the knees. Maybe it is the new style but seems like they may be hot on hot days, whcih defeats the whole point of having the zip-off.
