What to do about a man whose legs are too short - the pants were just too long. With the handy zipper down the side of the pant leg, hemming was just not an option. I had to return them. I looked on other websites and all of them had 30" inseam as the shortest available, just like the LL Bean pants.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, fairly-priced
Khakis and Gray Flannels were my uniform in long pants for 50 years. Now it's more often my LL Bean zip-offs. They are great for hiking, paddling and casual attire. Just got my fourth pair.
Soft, comfortable pants. Was very excited when I got them. But the zippers for the legs are a never-ending pain. Difficult to put on while wearing the shorts, and have a tendency to pull open from the end of the zipper.
I used these pants on several hikes and liked the ability to remove the legs during hiking without having to take my boots off. The problem arose when I wash the pants per manufactures instructions without having the legs attached. The zippers no longer work.
