I bought a pair of these pants a few months ago and I've used them a lot since. Here are my thoughts on this product:
Positive: -Lightweight and breathe very well. -They dry very quickly. -The front right pocket has a "hidden" zippered pocket in which a wallet fits perfectly. -Big pockets (with velcro on the rear pockets to hold them shut). Good for storing larger pocket-sized items.
Negative: -The velcro patch holding the pockets closed doesn't span the entire width of the opening. I've lost a few lighters and my keys have fallen out a few times because of this. -Sizing is done in S, M, L, XL, ... etc.
Overall: I like these pants and wear them frequently. The issue with the pockets it a little annoying, but I now put the "must not ever lose" items in the zippered pocket or my backpack. I haven't really had a chance to see how durable and rugged they are, but they've held up very well for hiking and wading through rivers.
My husband loves these pants for traveling on an airplane. We live in a cold climate and like to vacation in warm places. The legs zip right off, even in a cramped airline seat. You also don't have to take the belt off to go through airport security.
These are the second pair of pants like this that I have ordered. The first pair has taken me thru Europe for a few years and I decided that another pair, in another color, would do. They are wonderful to wash and take care of and are most comfortable.
