I have purchased two of the Katahdin Iron Works heavyweight sweatshirts for my sons. They work outside a great deal and the sweatshirts are very warm and comfortable.
As is with most, if not all LL Bean products, this is as advertised. One comment to LLBEAN tho. I'd be willing to pay at least 10% more for similar products made in the USA. and I'm not big on flag waving but jobs are jobs and I can't believe you can't find someone to make just as fine a product here. Thanks for your time.
Got 2, one for my son & one for my daughter's boyfriend for Christmas. Extremely warm. Heavyweight & good quality. Both young men liked them a lot & have been wearing them since Christmas day.
I found it so superior, I ordered a second one. It was a gift, and I needed to exchange the medium for a large. Regular guy. It is great, he was wowed!
