This is an excellent product for people whose limited range of motion makes dressing difficult at times. The polyester lining in the arms enables you to slip it off and on easily, while the fleece lining is warm and soft. And, combined with a front zipper, you have a perfect combination.
My 13 yr old son is inbetween sizes - not big enough for men's sizes but the big boys sizes don't fit right either and are frequently styled in a way that is too childish now. I ordered this jacket as a back up to the boys fleece lined hoodie - just in case he didn't like that one I'd have something else to offer. He has worn this jacket daily for about a month now. He put it on and immediately said "This one!" with enthusiasm. That is saying a lot for a guy who really doesn't think about clothes. From my standpoint the jacket is wearing extremely well. It has been through the washer and dryer without shrinking or pilling. He has dragged it through all manner of mess and the jacket has cleaned up beautifully. The generous sizing means he can wear it over anything. The hood is great for light drizzle and sneaky north breezes. Most of all, he is wearing a jacket. success!
These are really wonderful sweatshirts. My husband works in a lot of different settings so he always needs to be prepared and his two Katahdin's are one his best weather assets! He's in a cold warehouse, or outside unloading trucks, and then he's in an office and then back outside - you see the pattern. He loves these sweatshirts and I am so glad he has them!
