BOUGHT 2 OF THESE SWEATSHIRTS, ONE IN GREEN AND ONE IN BROWN, BOTH MEDIUM. LIKED THE DESIGN AND HEAVY DUTY LINING. BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED, AFTER 5 OR SIX WASHES THE CUFFS ON THE SLEEVES STARTED TO UNRAVEL AND THE SLEEVES STARTED TO COME APART. DEFINETELY WOULD SEND THEM BACK BUT MISPLACED THE RETURN INFORMATION.
Layers great with other clothes. Too bad - it was a good sale, but the cuffs wore out in no time, now looking pretty shabby. I don't think the 91% cotton/9% polyester works out well for wear on the cuffs. LLBean, please bring this up to your reputation's quality.
Let's face it, when it comes to work clothes, men's are better. Designers don't believe woman can actually do construction, do heavy duty chores, etc. so they provide pretty, lightweight products with short-length sleeves and short waists and no room in the shoulders. So, I bought this hoodie a couple of years ago (in brown) and have loved it! Just bought another small.
Pros: Large hood Smooth sleeves - I can layer up underneath and it doesn't stick in the arms. It's not bulky, stretches and moves as needed Plenty of room in shoulders, back, and arms - even with layers Kept me warm
Cons: The only con is the sleeve ends. They have totally shredded. I'm hoping it's been long enough that they've done something to address how it wears. That's why I only gave 4 starts.
