Katahdin Iron Works Heavyweight Sweatshirt, Hoode
PostedNovember 17, 2011
Proswarm
Well this is my third sweatshirt in three years. First one the zipper failed and an elbow ripped out. Second one shrunk so bad in the drier it was no longer wearable.
I am waiting the arrival of the third.
I feel that the hood should cover more of my shaved/bald head. I also feel that you should be able to use the drier and still have the sweatshirt fit. So far I am not the least impressed with this item with the exception of its warmth.

Substantial, Unique Hoodie, Great Value

ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, correct to size
First thing I noticed was the weight. Not your typical sweatshirt-with-a-hood, this is beefy cotton with a plush, warm lining. Silky sleeve lining is another refinement setting this hoodie apart from the crowd and making it so easy to slip on and off when layering.

ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable
I recently purchased this hooded sweatshirt and immediately wore it. It has kept me very warm and it is extremely rugged. I going to buy two more for Christmas gifts.

Sleeve lining surprised me -
PostedNovember 16, 2011
I bought this for my husband and ended up returning it. I felt so bad. He unwrapped it, very excited; it looked appealing and warm with the berber fleece lining. Then he unzipped and threw it on and immediately looked at me disappointed. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but a windbreaker-like material lines the sleeves.
People still love this sweatshirt. I had a conversation with the associate about it when I returned the item. We just wanted the berber fleece to line the entirety of the inside of the sweater. Figured I could give a few future shoppers a heads up!
