I looked 10 years to find a sweatshirt that had all the features that I wanted and this is it: zip front, side pockets, warm, and in particular, a hood that's large enough to go over your head loosely. This is my around-the-house and afternoon walks cool weather layer. My only complaint is that the cuffs are not nearly as durable as the rest of the garment; they are getting quite worn and ragged while the rest is in great shape.
I know this is a "men's" sweatshirt, but plus-sized women will appreciate them too. This sweatshirt is substantial and beautifully made--I just love it. I normally wear a 16W and the Men's Large fits me perfectly. I bought it because I was envious of my son's LL Bean Camp Hoodie, which he *lives* in, and thought it might be a good substitute. My son tried the Iron Works one on and didn't like the smooth lining of the inner sleeve (he prefers fleece all over the inside), but the smooth inner sleeve is just fine with me.
