I'm 6'2" and 155 lbs -- finding sweatshirts that don't fit like tents is difficult. Bean nailed it. Shoulder seams are right where they ought to be; it's comfortable and doesn't restrict movement but looks almost tailored to my body.
The fleece-ish torso lining is very warm and comfortable. The nylon sleeve lining (yes, it's nylon, like the 1- and 2-star reviews are annoyed about) insulates just fine and allows for more freedom of motion. If it's hoodie weather I'm wearing something more substantial than a t-shirt under it, so nylon against skin isn't an issue for me.
This was recommended by a fishing buddy. I'll be putting it to the test with him out on the Chesapeake the morning striper season starts in April. I look forward to being much warmer than I usually am at 6am on a boat.
My only beef is paying fifty five bucks for a hoodie that fits properly... but like the nylon lining, I knew that going in. The product is worth it.
I bought this sweatshirt for my husband a few months ago and he wears it all the time. After reading other reviews from people who were disapointed about the sleeves not being lined I asked my husband about it. He said, "It doesn't bother me at all because after wearing it for like, 5 seconds the sleeves warm up to my body temperature." He also says it's the best sweatshirt he's ever owned.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, best hoody on the planet
I simply can't say enough good about this one. It is absolutely perfect. I have the heavier one also in the Nor'Easter Cotton which I also love. I now have two of these. Brown & Mallard Blue (beautiful color & nicer in real life than the computer). These are just perfect, warm, great looking, such a cut above the normal Hoody. It also satisfies the clothes techy as it is all fleece except for the amazingly soft & cozy cotton exterior. These simply put all my other sweatshirts to shame. I could wear these happily every single day.
This was a Christmas gift for my husband who is very hard to shop for... he wears it every day and it's his favorite jacket to grab. It's lightweight so it's comfortable while driving, and it's warm enough for our snowy winters. I just ordered another for our son in Chicago.
