I received the Katahdin Iron Works Heavyweight Sweatshirt, color: bay leaf, last week. What a treat to actually enjoy a sweatshirt. One thing the ad does not mention, the insides of the sleeves are polyester lined, allowing real easy on and off. The arms do not get bunched up or stuck with this garment. It is also warm for the Winter climate here in Colorado.
Just bought one in dark brown. With a 38" waist, I found the XL Tall to be a little tight around the middle, so I went with the XXL Tall. The XXL is way too big, but is alright considering it's a sweatshirt. It is very warm and comfy.
I ordered one of these sweatshirts for my husband for Christmas and he loved it so much we are ordering him two more for his birthday this month (January) and my son-in-law wants one too...great purchase and keeps you warm....
My boyfriend works in an unheated warehouse which gets extremely cold (okay not New England cold, but cold enough to be uncomfortable) and we got one for him, and he loves it. The warehouse is dirty, so we wash it frequently (i.e. I've washed it about 12 times in 2 months and it still looks brand new- no pilling, no pulls, and no dirt stains). He also wears it under a work perscribed fleece (which is NOT LLBEAN, and NOT WARM at all, but may be contributing to why it stays cleaner), and he's toasty warm all day long. He has recommended it to all his buddies. We just ordered him a second one for house lounging with his Christmas gift card.
