I first ordered this sweatshirt for my husband about a year and a half ago. He loved it and wore it while working in the yard. The zipper broke, I sent it back to L.L. Bean with a note and they replaced it free of charge. My husband is wearing the replacement sweatshirt, now, and loves it! It is great for spring, fall and even winter with layers underneath.
I bought this as a Christmas present. I was informed that it fit beautifully, it was quite warm, and was perfect for outdoor work and sports. He has recommended this to his family and friends.
I have both types of the LL Bean Katahdin hooded sweatshirts, and love them both... Whichever one is best depends on how chilly it is. I have a medical problem that causes me to feel cold most of the time, and these two shirts are always comfortable. The fit is excellent, and they are extremely well made. I don't plan to ever buy any other kind!
