I bought mine, wanting something warm and comfortable to wear in cool mornings or evenings while walking the dog. I love it.
My wife wanted one, so I bought her one too. She loves hers just as much. We keep the house pretty cool, so these are nice for wearing when it's on the chilly side at home.
While I did have to return this item due to material defect(zipper), it provided warmth and comfort for all but the coldest days this winter. I wore it everywhere and found it to be a nice alternative to bulkier winter coats. I used Quick Exchange and my replacement arrived in a couple days. I would highly recommend this product though I caution you: Don't overstuff the pockets or put undo pressure on the lower portion of the sweatshirt. This may cause stitching of the zipper to fail.
ZIPPERED POCKETS WOULD BE BETTER than the "unique Velcro®-closure security pocket hidden inside" the "Front kangaroo pockets". --- Other than that it's a nice hooded sweatshirt jacket.
I bought this as a gift in barley which coordinates very well with black and navy bottoms and is an excellent color. It's a very high quality hoodie with an ivory berber fleece lining in the body, and a smooth silky lining in the sleeves. This last attention to detail makes a big difference because the sleeves do not tug on the layer you are wearing underneath the hoodie. After seeing how well it's made, I wanted to buy one for myself but the fleece hoodies for women are not made the same way. So I was going to suggest that the exact same Katahdin jacket be made for women who like the outdoors.
