Sweatshirt was soft and warm inside and outer fabric soft and comfortable as well. I was very disappointed in the sizing, it is tight for a Large. I am a typical size 12 but this sweatshirt was so tight in the sleeves and shoulders that I felt uncomfortable even though I had a lightweight t-shirt on under it. I returned it. In comparison, the men's sweatshirt appeared to be more roomy. My husband had to return his back for an exchange to a medium from a large.
This was my second sweatshirt and I love it. I bought the men's small (I am a woman) and it fits nicely over a sweater. I wear a down vest over it and am very comfortable outside even when the temperatures are in the teens here in PA this winter. I love the hood and it fits comfortably over my head and keeps me very warm when walking outside with my dogs.
