I have had many sweat shirts over the years and this is one of the very best. The medium fits my 5' 9", 160 lbs. frame perfectly. The sleeve and body lengths are right on. I like the smooth polyester sleeve lining. Very easy to put on or take off. The hidden secure pockets are handy for keys or cell phones. The fleece lining is warm. Thinking out loud, I am wondering how much better this would be still if there were 2 more secured inside chest pockets? Thank you LL Bean for this great product.
Great sweatshirt: heavy, warm, sturdy, well-thought out. SUGGESTION ONLY: LL Bean: put a water repellant coating on it. I live in Oregon...it mists, showers, rains, drips....a light coating of water resistant stuff would make this TERRIFIC! Other than that, it's like the pickup trucks of outerwear: no frills, just solid, sturdy, reliable, and gets the job done right! sizing: I wear between a Med and Large most of the time (5/9" 175 lbs) I'd go with the large, since the extra thickness of the lining fills out the garment. Personally, I like the satin lined sleeves, unlike some other reviewers. Slips on so nicely.
this is one of the warmest jackets. I love it, I only had trouble with the pull on the zipper break off but other than that its the best . I would recommend this highly.
Great for around the house; I can turn the thermostat down! Comfortable and functional with smooth arm liners to easily slip it on. The warm pockets have additional sub pockets to secure loose items you must keep in reach. Elastic cuffs easily slide over wrist watch without snagging; also the three seamed sewing adds to the impression of a strong sweatshirt. The hood is warm and comfortable with the extra lining and adjusting cord.
