I bought this sweatshirt to complement the Katahdin Iron Works Sweatshirt, Insulated - the insulated one for barn work and when I was going to be outside for a length of time. This one for more casual wear.
I love it! It is warm, comfortable & fits very well. I'm tempted to buy another one just so I have it.
I live on a farm - I worked fulltime for 41 years - I am frugal - I have purchased from LL Bean for so long that the delivery people in my town call me the LL Bean Queen !! I buy men's clothes whenever I can - better quality, better material, longer lasting, and I get Tall whenever I can for keeping warm. This is the greatest garment I have ever bought. I bought two. Starts out for work, then shopping, then farming. Medium to heavy weight, but simply gorgeous. Granddaughter borrowed it and almost didn't return it until she realized that Christmas is near and her grandmother (nicknamed Patton) would not forget. When this item goes one sale, you know I am buying more. BTW, both granddaughters are getting one for Christmas from the men's collection !!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me - you will be HAPPY !!!! And warm !!!!
It was my birthday gift for my husband who loves LL Bean a lot and this was his second Katahdin Iron Works Sweatshirt. Since he has worn his first one over the last year, I got this for him again and he was so happy as soon as he saw LL Bean package. I'm pretty sure he won't mind if I get him two or three more for his next birthdays to come.
I LOVE THIS SWEATSHIRT! Super soft, warm and comfortable!! I will be wearing it often and will likely order a second one. I especially like the velcro pockets within the pockets...great for money or a phone. Great job on this one LL Bean!!!
