I surprised my husband with this zippered hoodie for his birthday (he wanted it when he saw it in the catalog). The lining is as soft as it looks, and it is heavy enough to keep him warm. (The silk lining the sleeves was a surprise.) The color (green) is fantastic too. Even though a little pricey, I think it'll last a long time, and become a favorite in no time! I am glad that I bought similar hooded sweatshirts from L.L. Bean for the older kids. I can't wait to get mine!
