I waited months to get my new Katahdin Iron Works sweatshirt after reading the reviews posted here. I received mine today and must say I was somewhat disappointed.The photos in the catalogs and online showed the heather gray sweatshirt as a light gray with a white fleece lining. The sweatshirt I received today was a dark gray with a tan fleece lining. It fits great and is very comfortable. It just doesn't look as nice as the photos depicted it. Therefore, I have to give it only three stars. I wrote Customer Service about it and they apologized about the color differences. They also reminded me of the return policy, but that's not the point. If you show a light gray sweatshirt with white lining, then that's what you should be selling! As I told Customer Service, I'll keep it based on the other reviews BUT I would have been a lot happier if it looked the same as it was advertised.
I've had this sweat jacket for about six months now. I love the fit and the weight and the color, but I am very disappointed in the cuffs. They are already fraying and coming apart. I have sweat jackets that are over five years old and were much less expensive and the cuffs are still in great condition. I doubt that this jacket will last another six months - and as I girl, I am not that hard on my clothes.
For the price, I had expected this to last much, much longer. I expected better quality from LLBean :(
