I purchased this for my husband, but I doubt if he will get the chance to wear this one. I will need to buy one or two more!
If you love sweatshirts and live where it is cold, or you chill easily, BUY THIS.
The quality is OUTSTANDING. The zipper and the exterior fabric are high quality, the sleeves are lined so it's easy to slide your arms in, and the fleece lining is heavenly. It's not fuzzy, it's more like a really soft, high-quality teddy bear material. Sorry, but that's all I could think of. It's not scratchy, but it's not fiber-y fluff. I really like the fleece lining of the Katahdin Iron Works Sweatshirt. The construction (sewing quality, etc.) is solid.
I don't mind wearing a man's sweatshirt, but it would be wonderful if you could make a sweatshirt for women like this one. One with a comfortable, generous cut (no tight, skinny arms). Suggested colors for women: Navy, black, dark spruce/pine, dark chocolate, and a dark red (not bright--more subdued red).
I am a short, slender female, and some of the sleeves of your more recent sweatshirts for women are cut too tight.
Purchased this in Timber and it is a great color. I appreciate being able to puchase this in a Tall size for my husband. He couldnt believe I spent so much for a sweatshirt, but he is true believer now! Great fit, comfortable and very durable. Washes beautifully. He has asked for a few more colors. Even our incredibly picky teenage son wants one!
This is a great sweats hoodie! Real sweatshirt fabric with some substance to it, warm fleece lining, great pockets and a generous hood with draw strings. Unfortunately I am not keeping it because it is a man's fit and I am keeping the other, woman's fit LLBean hoodie I ordered to compare. Except for female fit, this Katahdin wins hands down, though, and I wish Bean would do a Katahdin for women!
