Super comfortable, Cozy, Warm, Practical, Durable!

Wow! Now this is a sweatshirt! I actually got the medium and had to exchange it for a small because I felt it was kinda big for me (5'8, 170). I literally have worn this thing everyday since it has arrived and its made very well. The inside is super soft and warm, the outside is heavy duty and well made. The only issue I have is the mesh pockets in the front, I feel that they will break or rip easily and are not the best choice for such a well made sweatshirt. Also, the exchange process took a long time which was kinda frustrating but I am glad to have it now and look forward to many years of wear and use. I highly recommend as a staple in anyones wardrobe!
My wife got me this hoodie last Christmas. This is the best sweatshirt that I have ever owned. Some people complain that the core area is lined with fleece while the sleeves are lined with smooth nylon. That is a design feature so that it slides over other layers. If you are wearing a short sleeved t-shirt under this hoodie the nylon does feel cold for a second and then warms up. The nylon does a great job of breaking the wind. The cotton sweatshirt material is very thick and holds up to thorns well. If it is very cold, I put my down jacket or down vest under this sweatshirt when I work around barbed wire or pointy objects so that I don't snag the thin nylon that my down garments are made of. There are velcro pockets inside the main pockets that I use to hold onto my work gloves when I don't need them, it's a great design feature for anyone who has lost multiple work gloves. I would buy it again and have bought it for family members.
Just received my Katahdin Iron Works Heavy Weight Hooded Sweatshirt. I am ecstatic! It is very well manufactured, fits just right for my 40" chest (I bought a medium), very comfy and warm. The zipper comes up to just under my chin preventing any cold from seeping in. The lined sleeves make it very easy to put on and take off. I am very pleased with my purchase and my expectations were exceeded by a country mile! If you are looking for a well built, warm and cozy jacket/sweatshirt I highly recommend this one.
