At 5' 1" tall, 120 lbs, I found the extra small to be a perfect fit when worn over a short sleeve and long sleeve t-shirt. Recommend next size up if you plan to layer over something heavier. Smooth sleeve lining is nice for easy on, easy off. Would prefer two secure chest pockets on the inside of the sweatshirt over the secure pockets inside the kangaroo pockets. Hood was a good fit with and without a ballcap. Very pleased with this sweatshirt
This is a terrific fall/early winter jacket/sweatshirt. I had to return the first one as a bit too small for my shoulders, but love the fleece lining, the silky sleeve lining - easy on and off- the hood fits perfectly - NO b/ball cap!- and the strong north wind barely ruffles the fabric. The cuffs are a bit tight over a shetland sweater, so I hope the next size up will work for me. Only wish it came in deep red or cobalt blue....The secret pockets are very handy for cell phone or dog treats when I am at the beach at dawn with my dogs EVERY day, even in snow flurry time.
My wife made me get rid of my gray hoodie -- didn't want to be seen with me. I bought a black one and love it! The lined sleeves are great, and the other lining is stylin. Little velcro pockets inside the main pockets help keep valuables in place. Cool.
I really wanted the women's version of this sweatshirt but after reading the reviews I felt an XL women's might be too small for my liking. I normally wear a womens 14-16. I ordered the mens in a large and it fits well. I do like my zip-up hoodies alittle larger because in the fall months I mainly wear sweatshirts. This fits nicely with a sweatshirt underneath for me, not too baggy or too tight. For those of you who are considering the mens version I think you will like the fit. Just dont get the pretty colors or soft brushed outside. I ordered the black spruce and am happy with it. Just like others have said my 16yr old son loves it and wants one in black!
