I specifically bought this hoodie because of the blurb which described the hood as large enough to fit over a cap. This wasn't true at all with the one I received. the hood was very tight, and didn't even reach my forehead. My pet peeve is a hood that feels like it's pulling down on my hat. Otherwise, it is a very nice garment. I hated to send it back, since I liked the rest of it. I'm wondering if they had one batch which had this problem, since only one other person mentioned it.
This sweatshirt is the perfect weight to layer over a turtleneck and to be worn under a light weight ll bean rain jacket. The lined sleeves are unique and wool looking lining is great. I wear this while 4 wheeler riding in fall and winter and it keeps me comfortable throughout the day.
Appears very well made, obviously warmest I have seen. comfortable but completely unusable due to fact that hood is about 1/3 the size it should be for an average head. Got to send it back.
I cannot rave enough about this sweatshirt. I don't like a bulky winter coat so I decided to try this sweatshirt last year. I could walk outside in this sweatshirt and a t shirt and I would be toasty warm. And this is in Maine in about 5 degree weather too! I liked it so much I had to buy a second one so I wouldn't wear out the first one.
