It's not often people comment on clothes, but everywhere I go with this I get compliments. I've had no less than two friends try to swipe it from me. It's fairly heavy and warm, perfect for mid to upper 40s, early 50s temperatures.
I originally bought this for my husband for outside/yard work. Very warm, very comfortable. My teenage son, who will not wear a bulky winter jacket, quickly claimed ownership. So I bought a second. Highly recommended
I bought one of these sweatshirts for my husband. He really likes the lining and the hidden pockets to carry valuables in. I ended up having to buy another one for my 19 year-old son so he would leave my husband's alone. If you don't want to wear it for doing yard work, it looks nice enough to dress up a pair of jeans.
Purchased this sweatshirt to specifically wear under a new vest. It turn out to be the perfect purchase ..... great color match/ extra heavy and warm/ great construction & workmanship/ nice, roomy sizing. I antiscipate many years of wear. Thanks LL Bean for another great garment.
