I'm a plus-sized woman, and ordered this shirt in the men's XXL. My use of the item is for layering on inshore/offshore winter fishing trips. The sweatshirt is very thick and comfortable. The lined sleeves make easy work of taking the garment on/off, and the thick lining on the rest of the sweatshirt is keeping me very toasty. The quality is excellent.
I bought this coat as a Christmas gift. In fact, I purchased the same sweatshirt in two different colors. We live in the South. My family mem- bers were visiting relatives in a northern state. They were very pleased to be warm and snug in their LLBean Katshdin Iron Works Heavyweight Hooded Sweatshirt. I would recommend this item of clothing.
I bought this jacket in the hickory color for my 17-year-old son as a Christmas present, and he loves it! The furry lining is great for cold mornings, and the smooth lining for the sleeves make the jacket easy to put on and take off. The only improvement I could suggest is perhaps offering a "slim" option to go along with the S, M, L sizing for teens; my son needs a large for his height and sleeve length, but the jacket is a bit loose fitting.
