Bought this as my multi purpose jacket for the cabin. Layered it and survived a northern Minnesota winter trip. Only wished the linning of the sleeves were a softer cloth.
The sherpa lining makes this jacket. The acetate lining in the sleeves make it easy to get on and off. It's heavy enough to keep you warm on colder days, maybe a bit too warm when you just need a cover. The jacket just got tested on a cold and very windy day - no chill got through. This jacket can replace a coat in a pinch. The only thing I would change is that the hood could be a little bigger. It covers but I would like a little bit more. The security pouches in the pockets made me pick this jacket over a competitor's and it was well worth it.
