I bought this product for my husband, he is more than satisfied with this jacket. It fits well, the lining is warm and soft and the zipper is substantial. The quality is so good I'm sure we'll have this jacket for many years.
The perfect cold weather layer. Warm and snuggly. The fit is loose enough to give room for shirt and light fleece layers below. And I can easliy wear this below my Bean's Warm-up jacket or parka. The materials are top quality and I expect this hoodie to last for years. Since I got it, I have worn it pretty much every night in my home. No more raising the thermostat on cold nights.
Very heavyweight sweatshirt, and quite warm, but not so warm as to be uncomfortable. Appears to be well made and rugged. Definitely something I'd recommend to friends and family.
Your tall shirts are perfect for my husbands frame (6' 1"- 176)- I bought the Katahdin Iron Works Heavyweight Sweatshirt in a medium/tall last year and it was too long in the sleeves and the body (he wore it because he loved it). This Christmas I ordered the medium/regular....perfect fit. This sweatshirt is the ideal weight to wear over a heavy shirt and provide the warmth without a coat (in 20-30 degree weather).
