I bought this hoodie for walking kids to school and adore it. It is warm, substantial, and a nice rich color (I bought the hickory). I just took it to my tailor to have it taken in a bit so it will be more fitted.
I wish it didn't have "LL Bean embroidered" on the outside, but will deal since it is fairly inconspicuous.
I have purchased several of these jackets for my son. He is very tall and very thin and loves the warmth of the lined sweatshirt BUT I don't think any of the zipper pulls have lasted more than a year. The fabric is in perfect condition, the jacket looks great but it can't be closed. LLbean replaced one sweatshirt when I complained but the new zipper pull lasted only a couple of months. Too bad. For the price, a zipper pull that stays together would be appreciated.
I purchased 2, one for me and one for my Husband. Jacket is warm, no restricted movement, love the fleece lining, very soft inside and out. Washed well..no shrinkage..still looks new. I am usually leary of online purchases, but with this one, extremely pleased
Bought this for my husband to keep him warm while we works at the computer and he loves it! The lining on the inside makes this sweatshirt heavy and keeps you well insulated against the cold. I could even imagine wearing this as a jacket on a cool fall day. Great quality and a great buy!
