Over the past couple of years I have purchased this sweatshirt in a few colors and have been extremely satisfied. Yes, the price is expensive but I feel you are truly getting the quality you are paying for which is rare these days. However, when I purchased a new one in grey I noticed the inner fleece did not have the same density / heaviness as compared to the others I previously purchased, I called the company with my concerns and they stated it had the same specs. But when I showed my wife and asked her to feel the difference she agreed it was not the same. I don't mind paying for quality, but this time I felt I was paying for something more than what is was worth. LL Bean insisted it's the same but perhaps Katahdin changed the specs without notifiying LL Bean or thought the difference is slight that no one would notice.... As always Bean has excellent customer service and I made a choice of trying a new version of the sweatshirt with the Nor'Easter cotton because I was told the fleece would be the same but the cotton is a bit heavier, hence I felt it would be warmer and would also have the beneift of being water repellent. This week when the weather drops I will put the sweatshirt to the test and hope it meets my expectations
Very warm sweatshirt. Had to order a man's size as they are not available in women's apparel-too bad. I had ordered one for my husband and it was so nice I got myself one too!

Prosvery warm without bulk
Gifted husband with one; he loved it so much, bought another. He loves it because it keeps him warm on the coldest golfing day or during his windy, wet walks. Snug, comfortable fit provides warmth and style.
