I bought this hoodie as a birthday gift for my husband, who loves it, but I find myself "borrowing" it all the time from him b/c I love it as well. When LL Bean says heavyweight, they really mean it. The hoodie is quite hefty, with what feels like a very high quality cotton fabric on the outside, and the fleece lining throughout the hood and body. The sleeves are lined with a silky polyester, a very nice touch. This is the kind of excellent quality I expect from LL Bean. We've only had it a couple weeks, so I hope it holds up well in the wash.
A wonderful hit for as a Christmas gift for the men in my life. The fit was true to size. Plus it is warm, especially on those cold windy days of winter. It's a perfect jacket for the ranchers/farmers and country vets who work in the outdoors all day. I will be purchasing this jacket in other colors.
This sweatshirt is the warmest that I've ever owned. I bought a second one this winter so I didn't have to wear the same one all the time. I especially like the hidden pocket within the pocket for my keys. They never fall out.
