I had bought Teva's about 10 years ago - from Bean's, and they were great. But, they just started looking weathered and ratty. I didn't want to spend too much for water sandals, but Bean's had an end of year sale. Fantastic! The bright color was better than the neutral I had before. Teva's are the best for jumping from sailboat to ski boat to beach to marina. I have a very high instep and these will always fit me snug - no chafing or rubbing, even when wet. For every waterfront activity, I love these sandals.
The description of these sandals advised to order 1/2 size up if you needed a 1/2 size. Since I wear an 8 1/2, I ordered a 9. They were too big. I should have ordered an 8. Also, the sole was not nearly as thick as I had hoped.
