This coat is stylish and warm; not at all "too big" as others have said. It looks great and the sable color goes with everything in a very chic way. I got this recently and love the comfort, the look and the feel. I am 5'7" and 128 pounds and the small is a super fit for me. The length is great; covers the new longer sweaters. It's light but very warm and I highly recommend it. A beautiful item i will use forever.
I ordered this coat about 2 weeks ago, and was excited to receive it. I have an older LLBean fleece coat which is very warm but very bulky, so I was hoping for a sleeker fit. The Loden color and lighter contrasting Berber fleece were lovely. The shoulders and sleeves fit very well, but the body of the coat was huge. I considered moving the front buttons over 4 or more inches, then gathering about 4 inches in the back, but wait....I should not have to do all this work on a new coat, and there was no reassurance that it would fit well after all of that work. Unfortunately, it was an XS and I am 5'7" and 112 lb so there is no smaller coat to size down to. Because I never had a true sized fit, I was unable to tell how warm it would be. I would sure like to have this lovely coat appropriately sized so that I would be able to purchase one that truly fits. Please LLBean work on sizing this coat so it is true to size, and I for one will be ordering at least one of them!
While this item runs a bit large (the XS is still fairly large on my 5'6" 115 pound frame), I love how it looks with jeans and rain boots. It is extremely comfortable and warm. I wore it with a long sleeve t-shirt in 20 degree weather with a hat and warm boots and was extremely comfortable while running errands on the weekend. It has become my go-to casual coat. I have the loden color which is beatiful and quite versatile. Highly recommend this item and I am a bit of a fashionista. :)
I'm 5'8" and 120 pounds. Size Small fit perfectly through the shoulders, and the overall length and sleeve length were okay. The coat also seemed well-made. However, it was very loose around the midsection; I could have overlapped the front edges several inches. Not the tailored look I was hoping for, so I returned it.
