This jacket it nicely made with good materials. However, I got the smallest Regular Size, 38, which usually fits me well. But this jacket is sized significantly larger than a typical 38 Regular so I had to return it. Not good for a thin build but would look good on someone with a larger build. I was disappointed that it didn't fit me because I liked it a lot otherwise.
I had purchased the charcoal version of this blazer about a decade ago (circa 1999) and wear it frequently in the Fall and early Spring. A friend asked me if I'd just purchased it since he had seen it in the latest catalog and was considering getting one for himself. His comments reminded me of all the compliments I've gotten on it over the years and I decided to get the windowpane version to go with brown belt/shoes type clothing.
The jacket is very warm, looks great with a scarf & sweater, and you can wear it indoors without anyone fussing over why you're not taking off your coat. Great for cold offices. I'm 6'3" with long arms & torso and the tall version fits perfectly. Also: The 10-year-old one still looks new despite wind, snow, rain, and leaves so I'd give it an excellent durability rating - still haven't lost a button.
Very warm and comfortable. A good looking garment. Only down side is it looks a more like a short overcoat than a heavy blazer. Great for being out on the streets on a cold day and needing to look like you mean business.l
