Got the brown and the charcoal in a LLBean outlet for 59.00 each. No problem with the sizing as others have mentioned. In fact they may have been mismarked because they read 38 reg and I am a 38 short and they fit perfectly. Great for the winter as a jacket to school and do not have to take it off to teach in my cold classroom. Recommended.
This is a great concept. I loved the idea and photos in the catalog. The jacket itself, however is a shapeless sack. I don't know what body shape could wear it. I sized down to the 38--40 and it was still way too big. I usually wear 39. Go back to the drawing board; I still like the idea!
My husband had this jacket a few years ago. It looked good and kept him warm so he wore it a lot. It was warm enough to wear as outerwear on all but the coldest of CT winter days. (For my warm-blooded hubby anyway.) The only problem is that the exterior still looked great after a three years but the lining fell apart to the point of being unwearable. He liked it so much that I'm tempted to buy another but I'm not sure I want to take the chance.
this is a jacket you want to have for years...so I was astounded that an ll bean item such as this was such poor quality. After two years the lining was in shreds. I will watch to see if they improve the quality of this item since its such a great piece.
