I received this jacket for Christmas 2009 and wore it as my only coat in less than 20 degree weather in January. I took it to Ireland as my only coat in late March and the temperature never went above 40degreesF with snow, sleet, hail and rain the entire week there. We walked all over the place. The jacket performed wonderfully. I didn't get wet where that jacket covered and was warm the whole time. I'm very happy with it.
The is the second jacket that I have bought for my husband. The first I gave him for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. The second is just another color. The jacket will go with many outfits from dressed down to dressed up. It is very warm and has suited him through most of our winter months. We are south of the Mason-Dixon line but still have cold weather.
This jacket has very traditional country styling combined with good materials and tailoring. It serves as an in between jacket that can be worn on a November Saturday afternoon football game or as a Friday casual day business sport jacket.
