This jacket is similar to one I saw in England years ago and have been seeking ever since; was delighted to find it here at a VERY affordable price. It is ideal for travel because it is so versatile--roomy enough for a sweater underneath, with a quilted lining and lapels that button over to keep out cold. But can also be worn as regular blazer for dressier occasions; I've worn it every day since it was purchased and am delighted with it. Another nice touch is the zippered inner pocket.
This jacket is very warm and has a nice look that gets better as it's worn. I like it much better than a zip-up jacket, etc. Sizing was an issue: at 5' 10", the 42 reg was so long in the sleeves and body that I got a 42 short -- 33 sleeve w/coat body coming to the bottom of my thumb. Part of the length is the new-age style and I'm too old to appreciate it.
