Perfect for the Boardroom or the Boardwalk... No need for an overcoat with this jacket. Tailored with enough room for layering on an especially chilly day. I expect many years' wear from this classic fit and design.
This jacket is very warm, more than a blazer really. It does run a bit large, even if you plan on wearing a sweater under it. I'm normally a PERFECT size 42 Long, and I ended up with a 40 Tall in this jacket with room for a sweater.
Going back 10-15 years, I purchased 3 of the earlier, USA Made, versions of this jacket offered by LL Bean at about the same price. They were great for use in the winter climate of the mid-south. This version is made in Vietnam and is of a lighter weight and quality. The defect in the older jackets was fraying of the Thinsulate lining. We shall see if this version is more robust.
