The jacket fits very true to size, it is roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath it. It looks durable even though I have just received and the wool fabric is nice.
I bought simmilar one about 10 years ago. And, I got new one. Weight is improved, but felt rather cheaper looking outside. Worm and soft, but should be select one size down. Usually, I buy 40, but 38 is the vest fit to me in this item.
I bought the Jacket although the reviews made it sound awful. I'm a 2x and it was big enough to wear a sweater under it, which is what I wanted. I had the sleeves shortned, and the jacket cleaned and pressed. I got the sale price so I didn't mind that expense. I really like it and got lots of complaments on it
I carefully read all of the reviews for this jacket and decided upon a size smaller than I usually take. The consensus seems to be that it runs large. I think this is accurate. My regular jacket size is 40, so I went with a 38. It fits me perfectly. The arms are just the right length and the shoulders are not too loose or too snug. I really don't understand the negative reviews this jacket has received. Many people say it is too loose in the waist, but I have to disagree. I have a 34 waist and it drapes me just fine. Yes, it did come out of the box wrinkled in the arms, but a quick steam ironing took care of that. With the interior insulation this is a fine jacket for autumn or early spring. And at $99 I think I got a bargain.
