My rug just arrived and I could not wait to see how it would look in my newly remodeled great room. I matches perfectly. My funiture is Mexican rustic, unfinished pine with leather chairs and ottoman. The quality of this rug is outstanding. As previously noted, the picture in the catalog does not do this rug justice. The photo online is more accurate. The colors are rich and subtle. After making a few mistakes in this remodeling project, this purchase is spot on..... Very pleased. For the pilling, we'll see how it works out for us. I have a Dyson vaccuum and hopefully it will pick up any lose fibers.
Arrived in only a day and a half. Very nice rug. Love it b/c it fits my style and decor perfectly. The colors are very pretty; HOWEVER, the colors are not at all as depicted in the catalog - the background certainly is not as green. I would describe it as a mossy to deep brown (a nice brown) not olive, and the other colors are a bit more subtle than the catalog picture. The website picture is just too dark to see any colors very well. It is shedding quite a bit still after having it for 2+ weeks, but apparently that's a characteristic of wool rugs and not that much of a bother. The name of the rug fits just right!! Very nice.
I love my rug and can live with the shedding but my one major complaint is that the rug I received isn't the rug pictured here at all. My rug has more of a rich brown background and has a much more primitive design than this one. I decided to keep it anyway because I still thought the rug was very nice but I wrote customer service and suggested they might want to update their catalog photo to match their product!
The rug is lovely with rich , subtle colors. I am very pleased with it except it tends to create little balls of pile when sitting in a rocking chair placed upon it.
