"When my 12 year old son saw these shorts he was thrilled with the style. He is very picky about his clothes and will only where shorts, so I thought corduroy would be great as the seasons change. These shorts are made way to small in the waist! The length was perfect but he could not even get them within two inches of buttoning. He normally wears a 12 so we bought a 14 so he could grow into them. They are made only for very very skinny kids! The style is perfect , I give them a 10 but the sizes are not usable for a normal child."

"My picky 12 year old loved these shorts! We ordered the chocolate which was more like a washed out black. Unfortunately, the size 12 was tight in the waist, and he is a smaller than average child. If in doubt, order up. These shorts are worth it."

My son loves the camoflage version!,

"My 11-year-old son is very thin, so I was concerned that these didn't come in slim sizes. In other brands, I have to buy slims, even if the waist has the adjustable elastic. But these shorts fit GREAT! They were baggy without looking like they fit poorly, and the waist has enough elastic to adjust to my stick-thin child. Plus, in the terms of an 11-year-old fashion-conscious boy, the camoflage shorts are "way cool!" I highly recommend these shorts. I have already washed them many times. They do fade, but the fading makes them even more appealing to my son."

"My very style conscious son loves these shorts in camouflage. They are cut well, hang low and look "cool" and have the adjustable waistband which is a must for him. The quality is full LLBean and they seem like they'll last through both my sons quite easily."
