Comfy and warm, January 30, 2010
By msfris from San Antonio, TX

"I originally bought the light gray as I needed a light weight but warm layer since I am outside for agility class. I couldn't get over how soft and warm this shirt is. It is extremely comfortable and the thumb holes on the sleeves are a nice added plus. The sleeves are a good length and don't ride up leaving your wrists cold. I recently purchased the black one as well. They launder well and I love wearing them."

"Absolutely love this top. It's great as a first layer or on its own. I love the princess seams and fit--very flattering. Have the pants and love them too."

"just a great warm piece of clothing...stood on a 30 foot cliff, 40 mph wind off the Atlantic and only this shirt, a scarf and a down vest on my torso...totally warm!! Only regret is that I did not get the pants"

Great for sports, January 20, 2010
By FLMom from Jacksonville, FL

"I purchased this black top to use while playing tennis on cold evenings in Florida (yes, it gets chilly here!). I use it as a top alone rather than as underwear. I found it very comfortable and warm. I haven't washed it yet so I can't review on how it does after washing. So far, I'm very satisfied with it."

My New Favourite Long Sleeve Tee, January 19, 2010
By tdotmakeupgirl from Toronto, ON

"I adore merino wool, and these shirts are definitely good quality. The cut is delightful, too, with princess seams that cut a waist-showing shape around the body, and a slightly longer 'tail' that looks adorable and flattering. I realize that most people will choose these as underwear, but I am a big fan of the basic black long sleeve tee. These fit rather smaller than LLBean shirts have fit me in the past, although the arms are definitely long enough. I am 5'6", 120 lbs, with a curvaceous figure, and found the small to be a good fit."

wicked wool crewneck underwear, January 13, 2010

"I love it and have it on right now! It is a great first layer under anything--especially a cotton turtleneck that isn't very warm. I am a size 8 and the small fits great as other reviewers noted. Also have it in black."

love it, January 12, 2010
By giguer from canada

"These shirts are fabulous -- I am practically living in them. Warm, durable; softer and a tiny bit thicker than my previous brand of merino wool shirts -- perfection. The thumb holes are a welcome feature when pulling on layers. They fit a size larger than the Canadian brand I have used until now but once you figure that out you're good to go. I am a total convert!"

Wicked Warm Wool Underwear, February 18, 2009
By WarmNCozy from Boston, MA

"This is the most comfortable and soft wool 'shirt' I've ever worn. Like the zippered turtle-neck it is non-itchy, soft, light (but nice and warm), and has a very good fit. The crewneck style fits nicely under other shirts or sweaters without showing. I often use the turtle-neck as a sporty style shirt with a cardigan. These shirts are nice enough to wear alone as a top-shirt. It's style does not scream of 'underwear'. I love the softness, warmth, and the fact that the sleeves are long enough for my long arms. I usually need to order a size up and have baggy shirts. Not for this one. The thumbhole allow you to keep the sleeves down while putting on another sweater or while outside in the cold weather. Keeps my wrists nice and warm (and hence my hands too!) Love it, love it, love it, love it! I bought a turtle-neck in November and have now bought 2 turtle-necks and two crewnecks. I wear them as often as I can get away with! I tend to get cold and chilly often, but using this as a layer or alone, I don't have that problem at all! I like the black color, but have the natural for when I wear a light colored top on top of this wool shirt. For variety I do wish this shirt also came in dark charcoal. The men's charcoal color is too light in my opinion. The black attracts light colored lint when worn under other (light colored) shirts, so a charcoal heathered shirt would be nice. Shirt is a bit pricey, but since I have not seen any other vendor with this shirt of this quality, it's worth it."

Pegleg, February 5, 2009

"This wicked wool thermal underwear top is ideal for skiing on cold days. The added feature to put your thumb through sleeve is a great feature. It keeps the wrists covered all the time eliminating the cold spot one often gets when the mittens and the coat sleeve are not always aligned. I really appreciate this little added benefit of this cleverly designed garment"

PERFECT, December 28, 2008
By elle721 from texas

"love everything about it -- soft, feels great on, sleeves not too short (which is hard for me to find), the thumb holes are awesome, wasn't too bulky under sweaters or other shirts, kept me super-warm... just love it! looks great on its own, as well -- can wear it with jeans. i'm going to order the zip-up as well as some of the pants."

Soft and Warm, December 17, 2008
By wildandcrazygrandma from Olney, MD

"This is a great shirt. It is soft, non-scratchy, and of good quality. I believe that it runs a little small. I had ordered it in small (my usual size) and had to return it for a medium--and I am looking forward to receiving the exchange."

Great for cold weather football games, December 10, 2008
By FootballFanInDC from Washington, DC

"I could not be more pleased with the Wicked Warm wool underwear. I got the crewneck in black and wore it to a recent pro football game where the high for the day was 28 (and there were 30 mph winds so it was colder than that!). I was kept warm the whole time. Even though this product is wool, it is not itchy in the least. The sleeves were long enough for a tall-ish woman like me (5'9") and the thumbholes were fantastic to have. An excellent product; if it weren't so expensive I would have gotten the pants as well, but this was definitely worth the money, and then some."

Wonderful 'Wicked wool', November 26, 2008
By InterestedPerson from WI

"Really like this. Texture softened up after washing, not scratchy. Probably will wear daily. If not for the price, would get another top to always have one ready to wear. Wish it were as long in the torso as the double layer long underwear, which I also am trying this year, as I always need one more layer than most people. Nice when sedentary at low temperature home.
A little much when shopping or in warm
homes.
